Eddie and Lauren | Chicago Wedding Rookery Building

As I have been settling into life in the Chicago suburbs, I’ve been meeting a few, very lovely, Chicago wedding photographers. Those that have taken the time to meet me, and give me the opportunity to work with them, have been so wonderful to me! Ann and Kam are two of those lovely people…they are a very kind, extremely talented, and sweet couple that asked me to second shoot for them in June. I was excited to jump back into the Chicago wedding photography scene, and this wedding with them was absolutely stunning.
When I first met Lauren, and then Eddie the day of their wedding, I immediately thought…these two are just downright beautiful and caring people. Their affection and deep love for each other was evidenced throughout the day, witnessed in the happy glances they would give each other, the way in which the make everyone around them at ease and the happiness that was shared by by all on their day.

We started with the girls getting ready at The Wit (hello amazing place, how have we not met?!!) and then moving to the Financial District for bridal party photos and the reception at The Rookery (uhhhhmazing!). Of all the years I have spent exploring Chicago, I can’t believe that this was my first experience at The Rookery. Stunning elegance is how I would describe this venue. What a beautiful piece of Chicago Architecture and history.

So thankful that I had the opportunity to second shoot for Ann and Kam, and to be a part of Lauren and Eddie’s day. Enjoy!
