Both Jamie and Lindsay were there to celebrate a mutual friends birthday. They didn’t know each other…but a little while into the festivities, Lindsay noticed that this guy (Jamie) would not stop staring at her. She went right up to him and wanted to know why he was watching her from a distance. They struck up a conversation…talked for a while, and that was all that came of it, for a little while anyways. Two months later, Lindsay called him up and wanted to know how he was doing…and they start dating. Fast forward a little bit, and Jamie is getting ready to propose on Ocracoke Island. He had it all planned out…but the weather had other plans. So in the howling wind and rain, after a bike ride that felt like they were pedaling against hurricane force winds…Jamie proposed! Lindsay said yes, and they are planning a May 2012 wedding!

We had such a great time with their engagement session… My Jamie came along to help with the pictures, so it was quite funny when I would shout out “Hey Jamie!”.

Can’t wait until May you two!
