Sweet little Ella has grown SO much since I photographed her at her newborn session. She has the cutest little personality and is so happy! We scheduled an early morning session at Duke Gardens, to try and beat the heat. Even though it was hot and humid, and we trekked all over the gardens, Ella was such a happy camper. Her parents had planned a “milk and cookies” 1 year birthday party, and brought cookies in a jar, milk in a glass jar and balloons to be a part of the photo shoot. It was so fun! Ella wasn’t too sure about the balloons and kept trying to get away from them, but she was pretty happy about her cookie jar!
Ella also had a custom cake that her mom put a lot of effort into making. It looked so yum! She was more interested in the cookie decorations than the cake, but after much convincing, she finally dug into it and got chocolate everywhere! Love it!
