Raleigh Engagement Photographer | Julie and Graham

From the moment I met Julie and Graham, I knew that they would be such a fun couple to get to know and to photograph. In the hour or so I spent with them over lunch at our first meeting, I heard funny stories of the beginnings of their relationship and how their careers took them through a few years of a long distance relationship, and how they are so excited to get to their big day in October.
They are a fun couple who loves adventures together, but also love hanging out together in their cute condo downtown Raleigh. Graham loves to golf, and as you will see in a few pictures below, tried to teach Julie a thing or two about the game. Julie, loves to cook and is a Chef in Raleigh, I could spend hours chatting with her about cooking techniques and learning about a Chef’s world…cooking is something I love to do, when I have a few spare hours (ha!).

We spent a good amount of time wandering around downtown Raleigh for their engagement session. Since they live downtown, they wanted a bit of the downtown scenery in the pictures, and I am happy with the spots that we found! From Moore’s square, to an almost empty parking deck (with a fabulous view!) to my favorite spot on Fayetteville Street, we had a great time, and a surprisingly cool evening to wander around. We ended at a newly opened golf course, that has an amazing view of the skyline. I think I have found my new favorite place to shoot…

Can’t wait until their wedding in October!
