Little McPherson couldn’t decide what day she wanted her photo shoot to be on! I arrived for her session just a few days after she was born, but she wasn’t quite ready to cooperate for her pictures, so I came back a few days later, and she was completely ready to be photographed!
On my first trip I was able to capture a few shots of McPhersons big sister Maloy – the last time I photographed Maloy she was almost 6 months old and such a cute baby! Now she is almost two, and quite the active toddler. I loved her big grins and silliness.
For being a little over two weeks old at our second attempt, McPherson did so well with being moved around for her sleepy photos. Generally babies don’t like to be bothered when sleeping the older they get. Which is why I recommend having newborn pictures taken by at least 2 weeks. But she seemed to enjoy her little session. And I can’t get over her cute little dimples!
On another note, I have become a little obsessed with finding cute things on etsy for my newborn sessions (much to my husbands chagrin!). But the crocheted hats, handmade flower headbands are just too cute to resist. I have actually turned into a little crafter, and have been crocheting my own hats, and creating my own headbands (Who knew that would be ME!). You can get a glimpse of those in my next post, about my new niece :)
Welcome little McPherson, I know you and your big sister are going to be best of friends!
