I have a good friend, who is also an amazing photographer here in Raleigh. His name is Craig from Luster Studios, and Jamie and I have really enjoyed getting to know him and his wife better over the past year.
Craig called me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be interested in second shooting with him at Abbey and Sean’s wedding at the Angus Barn Pavilion. Of course I said I would love to be a second shooter for the wedding!
It was a gorgeous day, big puffy clouds, blue sky, sun setting over the lake…and the most fun bridal party ever!! Everyone was so excited and happy for this beautiful couple, and it was sweet to see how meaningful each of their friendships meant to both Sean and Abbey.
Funny thing is, it turns out that I have a mutual friend of the bride and groom, so it was fun to see them there (even if I didn’t take a photo of you Amanda and Jonathan, sorry!!!!) and it makes me think of how Raleigh is definitely a smaller town than Chicago. In all the weddings I photographed in Chicago, I never once bumped into a friend…I have a feeling this will happen a lot in Raleigh!
