So…after a whirlwind weekend in Chicago, Jamie and I parted ways at the airport last Monday. He was flying home, and I to Tulsa for a long overdue visit with my dear friend Lindsay (and of course her family!). Lindsay was the Matron of Honor in my wedding, and her husband Paul officiated the ceremony for us. Paul joked that I came to Tulsa for marriage counseling, but Lindsay and I laughed him off saying, I was just in for a shopping fix. And shop we did!!! As well as long talks, good food, rainy-movie days, reminiscing of days gone by, and the craziness that is motherhood for Lindsay!! It was fun being a part of their lives for a few days.
We wrapped up my stay there by attending a baby shower for our good friend Starla (a photo shoot of little Hudson!!) and family pictures for Lindsay’s family. I just can’t leave town without firing a few shots off!! (Oh, and did I mention I attended my first rodeo there??? More on that later…)
Thank you Lindsay for everything, and Paul for sharing her with me for the week. I had such a great time with ya’ll!!

This precious little one is Addison, or Addie-boo as she is adorably nicknamed. At the beginning of the week, she cried when I came near, afraid that I was the babysitter. But by the end of the week, she warmed up to me and I even caught a few smiles!!

This is Marissa. Full of spunk and is quite daring and adventurous. I kept telling Lindsay, she just has that look in her eye like “you have no idea what mischief I am up to!!!!”. She is definitely fearless!!

And this is Olivia! I cannot believe how she has grown….I photographed her when she was a tiny little newborn, time flies!! One day, Lindsay asked if I could do her hair. So I gave her a french braid, which Olivia was not quite sure of. But by the end of the week, she and Marissa were asking me to do their hair. So cute!!!
