I can finally post these images!! The reason being, they were top secret until the wedding, especially not for Aaron to see!
Way back in June, Carlee asked if I could do her bridal portraits. We quick found a date that would work, and came up with some fun locations. We started at Crabtree lake, but due to circumstances beyond our control, had to finish the session the following day! So we hit downtown Raleigh!!
It’s funny because, being from Chicago, I am not accustomed to a few traditions of the south. Such as bridal sessions…I’ve done a few since moving to Raleigh, and I love it!! So fun! Carlee laughs at me, because I would always preface questions about southern weddings with “do brides in the south?”. She would just laugh and help me in my education of southern weddings. Love it!
Carlee was brave. More brave than I would have been in my wedding dress *before* the big day. She was running, jumping, sitting on the ground, laying on railroad tracks!! Kind’ve like a tame “trash the dress” session before the wedding! But no worries, she had planned on it being dry cleaned before the big day and all was well!
