It’s not very often that I write an entry about Jamie and I…but hey, it’s a cloudy Thursday morning and I felt like blogging! Things have been busy for us, last week we drove to Southern IL for the funeral of Jamie’s Grandma. It was good to see everyone, and the service was beautiful. Grandma Jean will be missed.
We are gearing up to head to DC this weekend. Every time we have a chance to go, I am so excited! I love photographing my clients there, and meeting new ones. I started making trips there a few years ago…weddings, engagement sessions and most popular baby and family sessions. It’s awesome!! Now I get to take Jamie along and introduce him to some of my favorite people/spots in DC/VA. No tours of the White House this trip…just business.
This past week also marked the 1 month point until we move into our NEW house!!! YAY! We are so excited!! We get even more excited after mornings like this…when our neighbor left her alarm clock on and it went off every 2 seconds for 30 minutes. Gotta love apartments! I am looking forward to painting and making our new house “home”. If anyone is visiting Raleigh, stop on by, we have plenty of room for visitors!
